The Call of Duty: Black Ops game comes with a hidden game called Dead Ops, a straightforward zombie-themed game that you run around and kill as numerous zombies as you can while collecting various shiny items. The entire game is viewed from an areal position, and though the beginning appears like an 8-bit arcade game, the remainder is quite splendidly graphic rich in definition zombie slaughter goodness. How Do I Unlock Dead Ops?
Go on the Main Menu screen. Alternate pressing the right and left triggers until your man breaks from the chair. Walk to the CIA terminal (computer) behind the TV for your left. Press "X". Enter "DOA", then press "A". Dead Ops will appear.
The game starts simple enough - you've got a gun, there are many zombies, so you shoot them. It gets progressively harder, though, until it appears as if zombies are spawning on the rate much like that of rabbits. In between the killing mayhem, you've also got a chance to remember to collect the treasure (which you do by walking over them; keeps both your hands free for trigger-pulling and whatnot).
Less you will get the mistaken impression that Dead Ops can be a short-lived game, understand why: Dead Ops is a lot like getting a complete Call of Duty game free of charge.
